The HELP Zone The Florida Reuse Net is funded by a Florida Department of Environmental Protection Innovative Grant through Hillsborough County's Solid Waste Management Department to the Recycling Task Force of Hillsborough County (a 501 (c) 3). The Recycling Task Force will lead the development and expansion of a statewide network promoting reuse for education and non-profits, and providing a forum to exchange ideas and materials for education.
The Florida Reuse Net is for the use of all Teachers, Instructors and Educators to enable the reuse of surplus supplies, manufacturing excess and surplus and recyclables in the classroom, after-school program, summer program, and youth programs. The Florida Reuse Net is also for the use of Business, Government and Non-Profits that seek to donate materials and funding to education. You must be a registered user to be able to place an order. Florida Reuse Net was created to provide a resource contact for teachers, educators, and home school teachers. Most teachers spend $300-$500 of their own money each year on supplies which their students need. We are providing those with donations a place for their surplus resources to be used. This is done at no cost to the individual educator. |
